Egg - 1
Egg yolks - 2
Carrot - 100 gms
Onion - 100 gms
Turnip - 100 gms
Bay leaf - 1
Cloves - 3
Salt and pepper to taste
A pinch nutmeg
Cream - 120 ml
Milk - 300 ml
Flour - 120 gm
Cheese - 50 gms
Butter - 50 gms
Method :
Make pancakes with egg, milk and flour.
Boil chopped onions, carrots, turnips, bay leaf
and cloves. Sauté for few
minutes in a pan with very little butter, and then thicken with it
with egg
and cream.
Fold the mixture in the prepared pancakes and
cover the pancakes with a
thick white sauce.
Thicken the sauce with egg yolk and cream before pouring on the pancakes.
Sprinkle the grated cheese, dot with pepper and
butter and grill under the
griller for a few minutes.
Serve hot.
