Maida – 1 cup
Cashew nuts, powdered – 100 gms
Sugar – 2 cups
Ghee – ½ cup
Water – ¾ cup
Sieve maida, and mix with cashew nut powder well.
Take a thick bottom deep pan and add water and sugar and make a two thread consistency sugar syrup.
On a low flame gas stove add a tsp of ghee and add the mixture of maida and cashew nut to the sugar syrup and go on mixing with the ladle by adding ghee little by little, for say 6 to 8 minutes.
Then pour the mixture in the ghee greased plate.
When it is hot, cut them with knife into diamond shape.
Store in a tight container.
