Ingredients :

Fish (preferably rohu) – 4 pieces
Salt – to taste
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Oil - for frying
For Paste:
Mustard Seed – 1 tbsp
Curd - 1 cup
Garlic – 5-6 cloves
Green chilies - 2
For Tempering:
Few curry leaves
Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
Green chilies (if needed)
Method :
Marinate the fish with salt, turmeric powder for 10 minutes.
Heat oil & half fry the fish.
Make a paste of the given ingredient except curd & refrigerate the
paste
for 10 minutes for better taste.
Add the paste with curd.
Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan & add cumin seeds, then curry leaves& chilies.
After ½ minute add the curd & paste mixture with 2 cups of water.
Add salt as per your taste & bring it to a boil.
Finally add the half fried fishes & cook it for 10 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Tastes great with rice.
