1. BitterGourd Muthiya

 

BitterGourd Muthiya

     
  Ingredients :
 
  • Skin of bitter gourd (Add salt and mix well and then held tightly between 2 hands and  squeeze extra water) - 200 gms
  • Wheat flour (coarsely grounded) - 4 cups
  • Handva flour/ khatta dhokla flour - 1 cup
  • Gram Flour - 1 cup
  • Oil - 3 tbsp + to deep fry
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red chili powder - 3 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Curd - 3 tbsp
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Soda bi-carb - 1/4 tsp
  •  
      Method :
     
  • In a bowl take all the three flour and bittergourd skin.

  • Add 3 tbsp of oil and then add all spices, curd, sugar and mix well.

  • Then make small oval shaped muthiya (cutlets) and deep fry on medium flame till they turn brown.

  • Serve hot with curd or tomato sauce.
